I habve started to put the headset back together but I also want to fix a few issues that had been bugging me for ages. First the new thumb choke and routing the cable better, secondly the return on the quick action throttle. I like it tio snap back.....

Fitting the CASA disc is the easy part, bleeding the brake is a pian so I bought myself a vacum bleeding kit. Works a treat!

After doing my research and gathering insights from friends who have already made the switch, I decided to take the plunge for improved braking performance. In this video, I cover: Choosing the anodised black front disc kit to match my scooter’s aesthetic.Installing the Indian GP switch housing for a seamless look.The CNC handlebar master cylinder mounting for Casa Performance discs and the Master Cylinder .Completing the kit with the brake hose and pressure switch for the single disc version X130. The process involves: Stripping down the scooter, including the headset, throttle rod/wheel, and a bit of wiring. Removing the old front hub and disc to make way for the new setup. I bought the most expensive single part for my lambretta! A CASA front disc kit! 😳 it’s supposed to be the ultimate in front brakes for a lambretta.

this is the fun part of running in an engine, opening it up to see how fast it goes!

We test out the inner bearing removal tool from SLUK that is used to remove the part of the bearing that is left on the crankshaft when you remove the mag housing. This tool uses heat transfer to remove the collar and is less likely to damage the crank than the traditional methods. It's that time in the build that we need to start sorting the seating position and the next part is to work out how we build the cockpit. We have decided that adjustable clip on handle bars is the way to go, that way we can fine tune everything to get the ultimate riding position for comfort.
